MEET THE TEAM
Lara Lemac is a Creative Producer and Director with extensive experience in the entertainment industry. In her active role as Senior Creative Producer at Sub Global, she has led creative projects for artists such as Travis Scott on his 2023 album "UTOPIA," as well as for Usher and Ye (formerly Kanye West). Lara continues to contribute to Scenography, Design, Architecture, Research, and Events, collaborating with brands such as Mercedes, Snipes, and Converse, among others.
Sydney Emeka Nwakanma is a public speaker, director, and entrepreneur. He founded the circular fashion brand EMEKA in 2019, which creates clothing from upcycled Fabrics in rural Kenya. In 2021 he joined forces with Dhanesh Jayaselan and Kimani Schumann to form the creative studio Cycles-Studio. They are producing films and videos concerning sociopolitical, cultural and environmental topics. Nwakanma’s passion for Fashion and Film has brought his work to platforms such as Vogue, GQ, Nowness and more. Yet his mission stays the same: creating meaningful narratives through clothing and visuals, to help us imagine the world anew.
Kimani Schumann is a Filmmaker and Cinematographer with a solid grounding in both the technical and the creative image making process. His Cinematography work has been showcased on Nowness and his commercial projects have included collaborations with Colors X Studios, Converse, Louis Vuitton, and more. As a member of Cycles-Studio he strives to produce work that is empathetic, emotional, and thought provoking.
Princela is a creative producer with a background in curation and event production. Her
portfolio includes collaborations with renowned brands like Nike.
Joining Cycles Studio in 2023, Princela has been involved in taking several projects from concept to completion. Her diverse experience includes working with brands such as Converse, Snipes and Carhartt WIP, as well as prestigious art institutions such as Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt and PACT Zollverein and fostering creative partnerships with independent artists and filmmakers.
